Registering for a place and tickets at GovCamp Scotland
Attending GovCamp Scotland is free.
For the 2025 event, there are 80 places available.
The number of places is limited based, of course, on the capacity of the venue. We hope enthusiasm for GovCamp Scotland catches on and the interest and event capacity will grow in future years.
Allocation of spaces
We are opening the ticketing for the 80 places as a ballot. This means that if more people apply for tickets than we have spaces, then we will use an allocation system to determine who receives a place.
Applying for a place does not guarantee allocation of a space.
Given the focus of the event, we will give preference to those people who are employees of government, public sector and charity/civil society organisations based in Scotland. We think that people working directly on the design and delivery of public services - at whatever level of seniority - would get the most out of attending.
People who are allocated a space will receive a ticket. We expect to issue tickets by 28th April 2025. Tickets will be sent out via email.
Once the first batch of tickets have been allocated and we have organised helpers for the day, additional spaces may be released.
If this is the case, we will open another ballot round and contact people who were unsuccessful in the first ballot.
By registering for this event, you agree you can be contacted by the organisers for the purposes of allocating and issuing places/tickets, providing instructions for attending, and requesting feedback.
Tickets in the run-up and on the day
Please bring your ticket on the day to get entry.
Please contact us if you have issues with your ticket. Please contact us if you want to cancel or reallocate your ticket. Contact us via govcampscot@gmail.com. As spaces are limited, it’s really important that you let us know if you can’t attend so that your space can be used by someone else.
In the unlikely scenario that we need to cancel or change the event, we will notify you and look to move your space to the rearranged or next event.
We shall not be liable to you for travel, accommodation or other costs and expenses incurred. If you have a ticket and anticipate difficulty attending due to travel issues, please contact us.
We will follow up with ticket holders to ask if there’s anything we can try to do to support their attendance and participation in the event.
Tickets for the event do not guarantee that you will be able to run or attend sessions. Sessions will be decided on the day, and each session will have a maximum room capacity.
We reserve the right to cancel attendee spaces, refuse admission or eject any person deemed to be behaving in an unacceptable manner. All attendees will be expected to follow the event’s code of conduct, which we’ll share ahead of the event.
